Why guests love itThe rooftop pool with the hills in the background was the standout of the whole Trang trip, worth the twenty-three-kilometre drive from the airport on its own. Evenings settled into a rhythm of the sauna followed by dinner from the traditional Thai menu, with live music some nights adding a nice touch. The distance from the old town meant this worked better as a dedicated retreat than a sightseeing base, and the free bicycles made the immediate hills easy to explore without a car.
